Annabelle is a Margate born Contemporary Artist who makes pieces that are mainly Abstract, bringing a balance between order and chaos. In this retrospective her works express elements of landscape, forgotten spaces (hidden gems of time gone by), the influence of natural and unnatural landscapes, disconnected from their usual surroundings or places. Annabelle creates a space for rumination that challenges the relationship to their meaning. She subtly presents the mirror of nature as well as suggesting something more with these little moments of chaos, namely that these are personal stories, reminiscent places, real life current emotions and thoughts to life experiences.
