Admir Halilović is best known for his paintings where he combines animal symbolism with collages of famous / important public (Monica Belluci, Roberto Cavalli, James Blunt) figures trying to focus public attention and raise awareness about the importance of fine arts. However, Admir is versatile artist and his work includes painting with different techniques (soft pastel, collage, acrylics and oil on canvas), as well as sculpting in metal, wire, and polyester. Admir was born in 1976. He graduated from Academy of Fine Arts at University of Sarajevo in 2004. From 2005th he has been working as a freelancer, art director in art gallery, teacher, event organizer, set designer. At the same time, during past 15 years he has been passionate painter, sculptor, and promotor of fine arts. He is an active member of B&H Fine Artists’ Association since 2004. His artwork has been shown in several collective exhibitions in Europe (including Sarajevo, Paris, Bremen). He has designed and created several custom sculpture awards (including awards for Theatre Hair Show in Sarajevo, and „Ekrem Tinjak“ award for journalism). He has also been active participant in numerous charity exhibitions and auctions in his hometown. Admir lives and works in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina.
