A day on the shore, seascape, blue, neutral, on panel, framed
This unexpected shoreline occurred while making my minis. Its softness brings a meditative quality while it also evokes a special memory for me from the past when playing with my sweet granddaughter on a beach in New Hampshire. We built castles and drew in the sand for hours. She was three years old that day and we spent the whole day together. It's a joyous memory of quiet, peaceful one on one time with her.
The textures in the painting make the experience even more real. Always the rocky area on the New England beaches it seems. A nice resting place for a picnic!
