Fruit of the Spirit: Patience

A solid emerald block with two strips of gold symbolizes the fruit of the Holy Spirit as “patience." The steadiness the Holy Spirit showed me in painting this was difficult to keep up with. In turn I was shown that I NEEDED more patience, and to be steady and aware of my surroundings. In todays age, everyone is a "busy body". Constantly moving from one destination to the next and during a rushed-busy day, we can loose our patience in a split second. This was a reminder that the Spirit we have is to be patience, take a deep breath, and let go of wanting to be in control all the time.
